Rosie woke with the sunrise, stretching her arms out wide as the morning light poured through her window.
She loved this time of day, when the world seemed full of possibility and promise.
After a quick breakfast, she got to work in her garden, pulling weeds and watering the seedlings she had planted just days before. It felt good to be outside, to get her hands dirty in the soil.
As she worked, she sang her favorite songs, feeling her spirits lift with each note. By midday, her tasks were complete. Rosie sat on the porch swing with a glass of lemonade, watching the blossoms sway in the breeze, feeling deeply grateful for the beautiful world and her place in it.
It would be a wonderful day.
