Weiß was the anime which introduced me to the shonen-ai/yaoi genre. Actually, I stumbled upon some terrifying good fanfiction before I had ever heard of the anime. Since I believed the anime to be at least as good as the fanfiction, I bought all the DVDs. And I was still clinging on to some hope until I watched the last episode.
