Sorry for the delay.
Goddamnit, Bad Jew’s reviews are hot, I want to see an updated version giving opinions about the ending! Okay, okay, I’m not demanding anything, just think of me as a German citizen after World War I. I don’t really have bargaining power, but you totally know you could’ve avoided WW2 had you paid attention to my claims.
Uh, anyway, nice review (although I disagree with the Fuu-being-more-useless-than-Miaka statement; It’s an insult because Fuu is awesome and you just don’t want to admit it for whatever psychological damage done to you or your brother during your childhood). Keep it up~!
Yay! People like me!
Yah, I kind of forgot to redo the review after seeing the remainder of the series. Most everything I said still stands true. Much like Bebop, the plot picked up around ep 20 and made a strong sprint to a very nice conclusion.
I have to say, I really, really enjoyed the ending. Its been years since I saw it, so I’m a bit fuzzy on the details. I remember it being exactly what I didn’t expect. In a good way. I like that in a show. It didn’t jerk me around, it just went a different way than I thought. It was really well done.
…I should really make sure I don’t comment frequently, so as to make sure I see sunlight every now and again, but I would like to congratulate Ms. Marina for what is probably the first use of WWI in a metaphor explaining a request. Well done.
