PG/PG-13 for violence and stuff, and I heard there be lesbion undertones in this one; official series website (since the series hasn’t been licensed, that’s the English version of the official Japanese website)

Two girls, the Jock and the Smart Kid, find annoying animal sidekicks and wear super-ugly uniforms in order to fight evil. Although the plot is typical magical girl fare, the production values are very high on this one and the show looks great. The energetic opening and ending themes/animation are stellar–I can’t get enough of them!–so I’d recommend seeing those at least once.

Initial impression: The opening and closing themes are worth watching ad nauseam, but otherwise pass unless ya gots ta have Magical Girls. (Lianne)
