I thought the ending was absolutely unspeakably terrible, but maybe I just thought about it too much.

I admit the plot is good, but the characters are boring and unlikable. It follows the chosen one cliche. Just for once, I want to see a plan involving the chosen one back-fire despite good intentions. I never saw Thor do anything “evil” or emotional. He was the opposite of Van in GunxSword. It would have been interesting if he lost his humanity after he left the planet.

I luv this show too.
and it DOES get alot better, though i think it was good to start out with XD.

It’s good animation, story line and plot. And i think the character’s personalities aren’t bad either. We get to know them well and their not as flat as you said. The twists are good and it has a lot of mysteries. This anime is really really good to me. I just wish it could have been longer. (I like Thor and the Third!) Actually i already knew that the Third’s voice was Oguri’s cause i have been an oguri fan for years before i saw jyu ou sei.

i love this anime its very very good and the story is sad too …. but its shit because there are only about 11 episodes of this exellent awsome anime

I actually heard somewhere that it gets much better after, surprise surprise, the third episode, which is exactly where I stopped. So yes, I’ll probably be giving this one another try.

Jyu-Oh-Sei was excellent to me.

The plot line is so good. Any story about human survival thrills me. Our story starts out with two twins. One is weak and the other is not. Yet it is not in the way of a cliche. The strong one is more reserve and determine and the weak one is low in spirit and emotion.

When they come home and discover there parents dead they are attack and kidnapped to a place where survival of the fittest is literal and not just a figure of speech. The oldest and strongest twin is told to get rid of his brother because he was going to drag him down, he refuse, of course, at first. When his brother begins to whine he actually thinks of killing him because he’ll be dead weight.

Any show that has a character like that will suck me in even more. The reason why I think people don’t like this anime is because they think to hard. My advice is don’t think and just watch. The story will explain itself to you.

Just give it a try and not just three episodes, I mean c’mon there are only 11 episodes.

Watch it and give it a try. Please.
