Apparently the cast referred to the Albert character as "Ahoberu" (Dumbass-bert) throughout recording. And, having read the book, some changes (<i>all the main characters</i> being at least vaguely homoerotic <i>except the one character revealed to be gay in the end of the book</i>; everyone being in love with the anime's main character- which is common for anime, but in the book he just <i>thought</i> everyone loved him; the duel scene) were inside jokes or for shock value for people who'd read it already.
