Sleep Is For the Weak

I reviewed a seinen for today, but I cheated - it’s the unlicensed What Did You Eat Yesterday?, Fumi Yoshinaga’s current serial in Morning magazine. I’m a cheater - what can I say? I also updated the Reviews and Mini Reviews archives to reflect the last several months worth of updates.

Also, in TOTALLY AWESOME news, Skip Beat! is getting an anime! Yesssssssss. In the wake of S.A., it’s such a treat to see a Hana to Yume shoujo that’s actually good getting its own TV show. Here’s just hoping the adaptation will be good; I can think of few series harder to adapt for TV than Skip Beat. But I’m hopeful. It gets me through the day. (If they go with the Drama CD cast, that means we’re getting Ken Narita as Ren Tsuruga’s voice…which isn’t my first pick, but I guess I’ll have to live with his limited sexiness as opposed to the unlimited sexiness of, say, Toshiyuki Morikawa. But as least we’ll also get Nobutoshi Canna/Hayashi as Sho, which is pure win.)
