Michiaki Watanabe is doing a new story. A seinen. AND IT’S A GAIDEN CONTINUATION OF THE VIOLINIST OF HAMELN.
Every time I get frustrated with crappy manga in the West, I bemoan the fact that no one has ever brought over any work by the bottomless well of talent that is Michiaki Watanabe. I was this close to getting to work professionally on one of his titles in English, but the license slipped through the company’s fingers. I grieved long and hard.
This is a glorious day…for weirdos. Long live that insane manga.
